I stopped in there the other day to finally get the SRV boxed set which I knew they had, decided to go ahead and fork over the $52.99. Well I'll be darned, out of the four on the shelf one of 'em was marked for $29.99...the others were marked for $52.99. I took the 30 buck DVD up to the checkout counter and the 'sales associate' (one of Bren's homies ) says, 'That will be $52.99'...in my best Ron White impersonation, 'Ta ha..I don't THINK SO, Sport', so after this sales associate gets the manager and a couple of minutes of arguing on my part the manager says to me 'Ok, $29.99, must be your lucky day!'

See there, those kind of stores aren't all bad.

So Rick, I now have the SRV boxed set and it is awesome!

it was probably one of those mindless "hommies" that marked it with the wrong price in the first place. so see, they can be helpful!!

You did get lucky,I paid full retail for mine.It is a great box set to have if you like SRV.I'm suprised you held out so long .Rick have ya been able to find any imports that is not avalible from Sony ?

I know I can't believe the long holdout either but now that the Axioms are in place I don't think I'll be holding out too much any more. I must confess, for years I was a casual listener of Stevie Ray but the past year and a half or so I really starting getting into his music and have been equally impressed with him as a person. Man it's such a doggone shame to see a person of his caliber be gone so quick.

So anyway, no I do not have any imports and if you know of any sources where they can be had, I'll be grateful! I'm sure you go over to this site http://www.srvrocks.com/? Great place with lots of links.

I have checked out that site.Pretty neat stuff.I got my imports at a local record shop,I'm alawys on the look out for anything SRV.

Unfortunately in our rather small town there is absolutely nothing but a Circuit City and Best Buy. Usually the stuff I can't find here I'll get online. I'll start digging around a little harder.
