I'm planning on buying an H/K AVR 335. Any comments on that receiver? I have a limited budget but could go a bit higher than the price of the 335. This receiver will eventually drive M50, QS4 and Vp100.
Thank's for the advice

The 335 is a good choice in recievers, I would go with it.
If you just want to look at something else, I would look the Denon2805.
Good Luck

I have the HK 630 and to date it is the best receiver I have played with. The 335 I'm sure is just as good.

I was planning to get a 230 but got a great deal on a 630 so grabbed it. I think the 335 will be real good... there aren't huge differences between the models as you go up.

G,welcome. The 335 would be a fine choice, but if you can stretch your budget another $100 or so up into the $600 area, consider the new 435. It, along with the 635, has the new room equalization system developed by Dr. Toole's group which also equalizes the low bass frequencies.

'Cause when I think about subwoofers with all that vibrating low-end bass... I think of "Dr. Toole."

Not sure I agree with you on this one. The 7300 to me at least has a lot of differences from say the 630 or 635.

D'oh !! You're right. My budget stopped at the 630 so I didn't even look any higher than that

If everyone on the board posted "... and maybe that's why you're... NeverHappy" at the same time do you think the server would crash ?
