The Axiom subs have stereo inputs but my receiver has only one output. Which input should I use? Right or left? Or, is a 'Y' adaptor necessary?
Thanks!

For a single subwoofer line in you can use either the left or the right input. There is no need for a "Y" connector.

But does one only get 1/2 the output? In other words, do I have to turn my subwoofer up in volume more?

It sort of works the other way around. The gain in your sub amplifier is set for using 1 RCA in. If you utilize both RCA ins, you will find that full volume is achieved on your subwoofer at a low volume knob setting.
