I got my 60's today. I was playing with the idea of 80's, but I have to admit that the 60's have lots of punch. They have a different sound from my last speakers. I am glad that you get the 30 days to test them. Some people here have noted that you will hear things that you never heard before. I second that. Dark Side of the Moon has some backround "noise" that I never really noticed before. Anyone else out there surprised by the sound? I am not sure what I was expecting.....

I thought I heard a number of funny noises when listening to known albums on new M2s, then realized I was hearing things like strings hitting the fretboard, performers clearing their throat, floors creaking as they shifted from one foot to the other...
It's been a year and I haven't found a real problem yet. Followed the M2s up with M60s, VP100 then QS8s.

dark side of the moon wasn't mastered all that well in my opinion. i hear the background hiss. and yes, it's the new sacd. what are you driving the 60's with?

Right now, I am using an old Kenwood pre-amp and power-amp.
