I am purchasing a denon 3803 receiver for my new HT. I am looking at the axiom speakers, specifically the m60ti's for front, vp150 center, m22ti for the back and qs8 surrounds. I am going to get a hsu vtf-3 or svs 20-39 pc plus sub.
My question is are the speakers that I am getting the best setup for my system? I wanted to keep in the $2000 range for speakers.
Also, will i need the stands for both the surrounds and bookshelves? I was figuring I would need both.
btw, my room is 12x30x8. The HT is in my basement. Also, what about placement of the speakers?

I can't speak for that receiver, but the Axioms you've chosen are awesome. I have them (60's, 150, and QS8's) with a Yamaha 1300. There are some users on this forum that have the Denon 3803 and will shed some light on the subject as well. Good Luck!!

I have the 3803, and after doing some troubleshooting* have no problems with the M80's, VP150, Qs8's and a SVS 20-39PC+
As for stands, why not wall mount them? Or is that not an option for you? For speaker placement check out Dolby's Guide

*see Clipping thread, in short speakers are incredible and my sources are mastered poorly

I have the Denon 3803 and Epic 80. I truly enjoy its sounds both in music and HT.
