Can anybody give me a good reason not to purchase a Hsu VTF-2 subwoofer to compliment my current setup? I've limited my budget to $500 MAX.
Here's a list of the equipment I have:
Onkyo Integra TX-SV919THX (RECEIVER)
Axiom M22ti (MAINS)
Axiom VP150 (CENTER)
Polk Audio LS f/x (SURROUND)
Yamaha YST-SW60 (SUB) <-------------- this is being replaced by the new purchase
The Axiom M22ti mains are about 7' apart. We sit about 10' back from there. The room measures 17' wide x 20' long. We have 9' ceilings. Though in the future this setup may very likely be put into a smaller, enclosed room.
I use this set up about 50/50 music/HT, though I'm more concerned with the new sub being clear, accurate, and tight for music, than I am about pushing my furniture around the room with HT!
