Hi all! I have been an Axiom owner for about two years now and I frequently read the boards. It is a great place to learn about HT and stereo equipment. I started my first real stereo with M22s and I was hooked on the Axiom sound right from the time that I first connected them. I later purchased a VP150 and a HSU VTF-2. Then I auditioned the M60s at James'(gssrjpc) place. Thanks for the audition James and what a fantastic system you have. This audition convinced me to buy the M60s. Axioms customer service as always is first rate. My wife ordered the speakers on Tuesday and they were delivered on Friday. I have been in heaven all weekend! My listening tastes are jazz, classical, rock (all varieties) and world music (60% stereo, 20% music dvds and hybrid SACDs, 20% movies). One question for the board: what is your favorite format for Miles Davis' Kind of Blue? I have the CD which I love, but is the SACD recorded well? How about redbook CD or LP? Thanks.

I have that Mile Davis on a regular cd, can't tell you anything other than that!

That's kind of creepy. I too bought M22's about two years ago...then a VP150 and Hsu VTF-2. I then upgraded to M60's.
re: Kind of Blue...I think I read a post here recently RAVING about the new SACD. Do a search for "kind of blue"...I'm sure you'll find it.
Welcome aboard!

Thanks for the info, spiffnme. I will try the search. What a coincidence about our systems! What are you using to drive your Axioms? Oh and thanks to all who have welcomed me aboard.

Is this going to become a "I went from M22s to M60s" post?? :-) I too went that route but also had a pair of M50s in between my 22s & current 60s. What a great sampler plate!!! They all tasted great and I wish I could have kept them all but mortgage, utilities, all those minor issues got in the way. Bottom line, you can't go wrong with any Axiom product!!! Enjoy your 60's, you'll love them.
