I am STILL considering the Epic 60 system and I think I really want the 500 with it, but IS there much of a difference between it and the 350? I really want to get exactly what I want so I won't have regret or have upgraditous. BUT on the other hand funds always seem to be needed in other areas other than where I would like them to go. So with that, WILL the 500 make me feel it was worth the extra? or can I save the money and get a nicer entertainment center for my house?

I can't speak for the 350 owners out there, or to a comparison of the two, but I can say that the 500 is simply awesome. I've never felt that I made a mistake or spent too much money on the 500. I rarely make system recommendations but with the 500, I feel that I can say, without guilt or fear of reprisal, that I can only imagine two scenarios where I WOULDN'T recommend a 500:

1) To a person with an extremely large room (then I would recommend two….or three....or four).
2) To a person with a heart condition.

But this is only one satisfied customer’s experience.

On the flip side, I have the 350 and have never heard the 500. I find the 350 to be a good sub. While I'm sure the 500 is better in many aspects, I too cannot make a comparison.

While watching the depth charge scene in U-571, the 350 shakes the house. I can only imagine how good the 500 or 600 are.

My best frend told friends tonight at dinner that when he watched U-571 at my house he thought the neighbor's house would shake.

I also have a 350 and am very happy with it for the time being. A lot depends on the size of the room. When I move down to my new HT room in the basement, I may get a second 350, or who knows maybe a 500

Only problem is when I decide to upgrade, I'm going straight to the EP600 or what ever the top sub is when I do upgrade.
