The only way I can get it to stop clipping out is to turn it off. Just got it and I have other speakers from Axiom so it's just bad luck and not bad product...

I did a review about a decade ago on your EP500. I found the DSP was brilliant and made a big difference in the subs performance. I was never even able to get it to distort!...we did, everything from the 1812 overture to Saving Private Ryan. The unit is still doing service to this day!

I use dual 500v4 finished in walnut natural satin along with an 800v4 for my 4200 cu.ft. A/V room. The dual 500s add three-dimensionality to the already great bass from the 800. The 500s have convincing infrasonics during movies and drum bass and resolve every bass guitar note in a growling and very articulate manner. I now need two more to complement the great-sounding M2OW in my living room. The 500 sounds very similar to the 800 that I reviewed at the following link.

I purchased this speaker in real wood, rosewood and it''s as beautiful as is it gracious in sound quality. My wife calls it my second wife as I have been glued to it since it was delivered. The depth sound that it produces is simply breath taking, Rich, deep, enveloping but not overwhelming. It''s an amazing piece of art.

I've ordered the M22s and the EP500 as I build my home theatre system. Customer service has been incredible, extremely helpful and responsive. The packaging is first rate. The quality of the speakers is remarkable - the M22s have a great soundstage, open, crisp and airy. The EP500 adds a rounded depth and dimension without boominess.
