M80s would not really be a good match with the Yamaha 2500. It doesn't handle 4ohm speakers well at high volume levels. Doesn't really fit into your budget anyway.
I would suggest you to go M60s instead of the M22s with stands. When you include the stand price there isn't that much difference in cost. The M60s will allow you a bit more time to save up for that EP500 because of the better bass than the M22s ... hint hint.
Be patient and get the good stuff via the factory outlet.
M60s and Q8s to start.
Save up for the EP500 and get it FO.
Buy the VP150 FO after that.
Take a bit of time, but you'll be the envy of all those that enter your palace of sound.
