One more with pretty much the same as you(M80s, VP150, QS8s, 3808CI) and unless you are willing to go to seperates that have over 200W/ch you won't notice much of a difference, IMO. I would try the QS8s at varying heights as I think you are even more enveloped in sound if they are about 2 ft above your head while seated. I have mine a few inches down from an 8' ceiling and it still sounds great, but I would prefer them lower but am unable to as my kids play in the same room. I have one directly above one sitting position and I never miss anything from it. I have my center mounted a few inches below the ceiling as well and it sounds very centered on the screen.
