Also, here is another gotcha that had me asking questions here about missing LFE a while ago until I found this lonely little section in the manual.

See Page 42 in your manual. It won't let me cut and paste from the Acrobat file so basically....

Some DTS encoded material has LFE recorded significantly louder than normal or (more accurately) Dolby standards. Denon has a feature to compensate for this where you can adjust the LFE level outside of the normal speaker setup level for the sub.

This once got set to -10 DB for me and I wondered where all the deep bass went. I'm way too lazy to go back and change this setting every time I change material so I set it back to zero but it actually recommends changing it depending on what you are listening to. -10 for DTS music.

I have a few DTS concerts and leaving it at zero hasn't been an issue for me but my ears are pretty forgiving unless the bass is boomy.
