Only problem with moving down to a DVD-5 is you loose some video quality, not too much if all the extra stuff is removed, but it could drop into the 50% range if everything is kept and a 50% video range looks pretty bad on larger screens. I suggest trying to keep it in the 80% range, this still looks pretty good on the 40" LCD.
