Well, no. Not really.

I do use a tripod when taking measurements though, because I've found that in my particular room, I can get some pretty wide swings of readings by simply moving the meter 6". Keep in mind, this is using a metering position that's essentially centered midway along the wall opposite the speakers in a square room.
