I've spent almost all of my waking hours over the last 3 months finishing my basement (with help from a guy with excellent skills and all the tools).
Happily, the carpeting comes next Monday and then it's a matter of a few little things to finish and wait for the new furniture. Mondat afternnon will see the speakers come out of their boxes and hookups will begin!
I'm a little long in the tooth to want to tackle something this size this again. Next time I give the wife the Homeowner's Repair and Construction kit - the YellowPages and the checkbook.
