Hmmm, you bring up a good point...Man that would be sweet if they offered HDMI, i wouldn't have worry about this VGA crap.

I am stingy, I would rather spend 30 bucks running a VGA cord than buy an upscaling DVD player!

Perhaps Digital Audio is a different kind of signal than digital video.
