Ravi, I've been using the 5660 with the Epic 80/600 for almost 2 years now with no problems. I've got it set at 8ohms, and its NEVER shut down. The system is in a large open area, and at -15db on the master volume, it'll hit over 100db. Much past that, the sound starts to fall apart and I cut it back.

I've been extreemly happy with the Yamaha, which I got refurb'd off ebay for $180 Cdn. Cons: I wish it had an on-screen display, and in that size of room, more power.

Depending on what you can get the 5730 for, the Onkyo that JohnK posted looks interesting - especially for $160.00!

I don't know why he claims it's "a bit better unit". (It could very well be) Reasons John?
