Unlike almost everyone in the universe, it seems, I'm withholding judgment on the phone's usability and interface until I actually play with one.
Like the iPod before it, this so-called ground-breaking, tide-turning, <insert slightly exaggerated adjective here> Apple product is being panned left and right by tech media. It'll still sell like hotcakes and rake in the money for Apple and AT&T.

It does everything the iPhone does and more
I have to single out that comment. You can't browse the web and enjoy it on current devices. It's a pain in the ass. I've got an iPaq with a decent size screen and it murders most websites. You can browse the web, but not like the iPhone can.
The face grease comment is valid, but at least the thing has optical quality glass and not plastic so it'll be even easier to clean than other devices -- and harder to scratch.
I won't be buying one, though. You can bet that the innovations in the iPhone will be making their way (minus the phone/email/web stuff) to an iPod near you soon.
