Eric. Its funny how you pick up on and carry with you ideas of others. I was convinced that incremental increases in sound quality come at the cost of exponential price increases. Put that together with M60 like speakers I auditioned that impressed me, personal good fortune and an expiring offer on a very very nice looking finish and I knew exactly what I was going to do.
At exponential cost per value, the M80s are easilly a 2,000+ speaker. I am quite happy to wait a little longer to pay for the extra cost of the speakers (and the amp required).
So, no, I didn't order anything. If money were no object I would have stayed at Axiom and helped them build me a pair of M80s in high gloss, honest to good, real rosewood.
