Hi,

A number of the often overlooked Koss models are very good and very inexpensive--the SportaPros, PortaPros and even the stupid little "Plug"; the latter is OK if you don't shove it in to the ear canal too far. If you do, the bass is overly heavy.

But fit and comfort are crucial with any type of headphone, and what fits one person may not fit another. Ear canals, external ears (pinnae) all vary in size and shape.
