Though I suspect that it will eventually be tapped to replace our aging 36" tube (
the HORROR!) SDTV with some new fancy-pants HDTV sometime this summer.
My WIFE is actually pushing for that...
And speaking of people who hook up their HDTV's incorrectly...
My in-laws do precisely this. They have a
goregeous giant plamsa set that I drool over every time we visit. They even have DirectTV and live in an area with all of the locals in HD. Yet they don't see the reason to upgrade to an HD package, or even put up an antenna. Too much hassle. Last time I checked, the TV was even hooked up using the coax cable from the DVR too, not even RCA jacks. They love the picture quality as is, so why bother?
