I have the same problem...

I was thinking that if I angled them in toward the couch a touch, and angled the inner most tweeter down a bit this would really improve things. Maybe I will give it a shot and see. I already have them placed at studs with the T-bracket so it should be pretty easy to swap them out for the axiom FMB (or whatever other bracket I end up using).
