Thanks for all your suggestions. I am going to spend some time on the weekend to read the audyssey thread to learn more about it.

For now, I will set it at 80Hz.

To grunt: Did your receiver set all your speaekers to 40Hz or just your M3s.

Answer: to all of them.

My set up is 2 front, centre on a stand (not a cabinet), 2 rear speakers on the back wall which our couch is flush with the wall, subwoofer is at the front next to front speakers and tv.
