Never heard either but they are highly regarded by those in the sub forum on AVS, not sure if that is a good thing
My understanding is Epik is very similar to Elemental Designs.
Gieseman, you say you like the smaller subs, I would agree they are better suited for music, well, easier to blend with the mains anyway, I would seriously try the DSP 3100 I mentioned earlier it is a terrific smallish sub for a very reasonable price. I felt it was excellent for music just lacked the air moving qualities of the bigger subs for HT. I would also suggest the Axiom EP400, not cheap, but one of the best 'music only' subs I have heard.
