And Jack, yes, indeed I'm old, although I saw Led Zep 1st time @ 14, so I wasn't old enough to have been "allowed" to be an actual hippie. I wanted to, though---real, real bad.
And Mary, I still saw live music after the 80's, just not performers any one might recognize, or I saw older artists again at more recent stages in their careers. Like a night in a bar with Adrian Belew im '98, or Todd again 3 months ago. So, I still go, just nowhere near as readily.
