I *hate* sites that feature "consumer reviews," Amazon included. For the most part they seem to be along the lines of, "I just bought this yesterday and, wow, it works! FIVE STARS!". You have to wade through pages and pages to find anything useful.

Also, when you search on Google for things like, "Denon Reciever Reviews" you have to go through pages of results that are sites like these before you find *real* and *useful* reviews.

IMHO, Consumer Review sections are one of the worst things to have happened to the 'net.
