Congratulations zuter! As Chris mentioned and the others, you really can't judge by the speaker settings. Your old system could very well have had a boosted midbass hump or some other anaomoly that affected the settings and your perception of 'loud'.
Thanks. I still have the setting for the old speakers with spl adjustments in the Poi's memmory. I'll look at them tonight. I tried this setting on the Axiom's which boosted the sound (volume). I found the MCACC off or EQ off to be the best , to our ears, overall.
