I turn off everything but the phase alignment on my Pioneer. No EQ or standing wave. Oh, I did enable Loudness, which boosts bass at lower listening levels.

I found the EQ to sound processed. The standing wave seemed to some effect, but then I noticed the bass lost impact on tracks. My room is octagonal so standing waves are less of an issue.
