Also, I remember a conversation in my college days with a British guy who told me how "pissed" I was the night before. I said, "I was not!" But, he insisted. So, brilliantly, I asked him why I was mad. Of course, he laughed at me and told me I wasn't mad, but drunk. That was when I learned the British meaning of "pissed". grin
