If you do decide you can't utilize the QS8s (some customers use soup cans or similar supports to place QS8s on open shelves or side tables; the cans elevate the QS8 bottom woofer high enough from the surface beneath to be effective), then the Axiom M2s are a closer tonal match to the M60s than the M3s are. You don't really need the M22s for surround duties unless you have a really large room. Like the M2s, the M22s are a closer tonal match to the M60s.

Admittedly, the soup-can/QS8 approach won't win any interior-design awards, but there may be more elegant approaches. . .
