I am just calling them v1, because after the upgrade, they gave them the v2 distinction.
Yes, a tad bright, tried different situations and I am not the only one the found this. Which is why a resistor was installed. Axiom even sent these out.
but since v2 they changed the crossover or did something to limit this. I think it was changed the crossover from 1.8hz to 2.2hz for the mid to high. ..( I think ) or something like that to tame the highs abit. And I thnk something else was done.

I know the cometic changes to v3 with the caps and Magnetic grills ( something I did years ago with my M80 ) I put in metal pins in the rubber contact holes, then I cut off out the knobs and glued these round 3/8" magnets there, worked great.
I think some said, it was stupid ( for lack of the word )and not warranted, i would change the sound etc.

Just want to know what was changed, performance wise if any with the v3.
