I reason i wanted the stereo sub setup, was due to auditioning a pair of Wilson's.. With the Wilson's you could feel/hear the low frequencies in stereo, in a well mastered CD. However, the Wilson's i was auditioning were 25k$ a pair, so i kindly passed...
That is where this whole "stereo sub" thing is coming from, I can afford a second 600 and an outboard crossover. I can't imagine there being a "non-optimal" location for a pair of EP-600's... have you heard those things Ian???
I think with enough time, i could get the positioning down... it took me about 2 weeks, to get the M-60's positioned the way they sound the best to me in my chair..
Also, if the whole Stereo kick doesn't quite work out... There is nothing wrong with having 2 EP-600's... Then i would just to give in...
