A 1080p projector is available, and more are on the way.

But unless you want to spend a minimum of $30,000, you won't have one in your den for some time. There is a couple digital PJ's, then there is currently some double stack CRT's capable of 1080p.

But what are you going to feed it? Properly de-interlaced DVHS would be 1080p I suppose, but there won't be any need for 1080p for a couple more years, and I bet there will be very few products available even then.

Also, hopefully Samsung, or someone else will deliver a 1080p rear projection set by the end of the year. But it won;t be cheap either.
