I really appreciate the input from you guys! it looks like the dual fuel idea may be the way to go. There doesn't seem to be too many choices once you start narrowing down what you want...in our case, we don't want that traditional look where the control panel sticks up over the back but instead have the controls integrated into the front for a nice flat cook-top. This, combined with 5-6 burners, dual fuel in a 30" package limits our choices.
Andrew, we looked at the GE Profile as well as the GE Cafe, both are similar but look slightly different. Where the Cafe looks more "industrial", the profile has a more modern look to it. That's good to know you've had no reliability issues with it which is probably our most important criteria. Some people have complained about very loud fan noise on the GE's, others say they're quiet....
