+1 with SirQuacks preferences, I had fully intended purchasing an Outlaw pre/pro but the unit was canceled before release! Like you I wanted to try the separates route but ended up using a Marantz AVR with an Outlaw 7700. As JohnK has said this much power is not necessary but I wanted a bit more in reserve for those moments where more power (at least in my listening space) was the answer. Probably saw too many Home Improvement episodes! Not being familiar with the M 60's you might well consider one of Outlaws lesser Amps such as the Model 7125. Its still 125 watts with all 7 channels driven.
