Prices pile up fast. I have a few rooms that are using separate components to achieve same result:
M3s + AirPort Express (gives wifi and AirPlay) + WDTV (upnp) + Toshiba 180w feature-less receiver = 525 + 125 + 100 + 225 = 975$... It goes up to 1200 if you want a receiver that can be controlled by HTTP or Telnet or add 200$ for local switch and iTach IR controller otherwise.
799$ is far from cheap, but it is actually a significant cost reduction (if only in cables!) compared to the assembly I am used to employ.
