I am most certainly no expert.....that being said, why not buy both, try them and send the number two set back. You have thirty days to make up your mind. A hundred bucks or less in shipping will buy a lot of piece of mind and you won't have to listen all our opinions, which differ greatly.
I am being somewhat selfish in this as I would just love to here a comparative audition between the two sets. I don't think anyone's done that before.
One definite plus the 80's have, is they just plain look sexy with the covers off - if that matters to you. When I throw a party the covers usually get pulled off with a few OOH's and AWH's.
Oh, you won't need two Owtlaws, they pump a lot of air. Mine's in a much larger area than you have and I keep it set at the min X over, volume at around 11 o'clock.
