There was no concern, speaking for myself, about you stating your opinion. As has been mentioned, opinions are welcome here.
The difference is when someone states that "everybody knows that "X", or "You're crazy if you don't think "X". At that point, it's not offering an opinion, it's stating something as a fact, or belittling someone elses' opinion. And of course, there ARE times when facts are stated here.... but stating that one speaker sounds better than another is ALWAYS an opinion.... ALWAYS.
Some people here just don't get that....present company excluded.
