I am just wondering if many of you are listening to DVD-Audio, without proper bass management using your Axiom Speakers. I currently use M22's for fronts, VP150 for center, and some old surrounds (soon to be QS4's or QS8's). I have a H/K 520 receiver and use a Panny DVDCP72 for DVD-Audio. Obviously, neither the DVD player nor the 520 have proper bass management for DVD-Audio. However, I recently bought some DVD-Audio discs such as Fleetwood Mac Rumours, and it does sound quite good despite the lack of bass management. I'm wondering two things: (i) Do you think I am risking damaging my Axioms because the low frequencies are not being redirected to my sub, and (ii) Do you think I am really missing out by not having the bass management?
