Maybe you should get a new keyboard instead of a new amp

good one Tom. That Rotel he has should have no issues, heck both Ricks have the RB-1080 and we know how loud those guys play Stevie.

I'll trade him straight up, a perfectly good working three year old HP keyboard for that old junk amp ... even Steven.

I missed it.... The OP has a 1080, like single malt and is looking at Emotiva???
Uh, Arctikdeth, not to be rude, but were drinking when you posted the question? The 1080 is vastly superior to Emotiva. As with many other M80 owners, I used the 1080 with mine for a couple years and never whimpered once. They are now driving a set of speakers even more power hungry than the M80's.
So what's your favorite whisky anyway??? I'm a Highland Park fan. I just sadly finished off my last bottle of their 19 year old.

The 1090!!!??? That makes this discussion even more pointless, which definitely points to the old shouldn't post and drink rule that many of us on this board have broken a time or two. I say cut the guy some slack and give him a friendly welcome. A 1090…. I wish I had one of those….. Sonofabitch…. The Stereophile 1090 review. http://www.stereophile.com/solidpoweramps/100rotel/

My favorite single malt scotch is Lagavulin (16 year old). I prefer Islay region the best
I’m armed and I’m drinking. You don’t want to listen to advice from me, amigo.
