Status Quo guitarist Rick Parfitt passed Dec 24 2016 aged 68. This band laid a foundation for rock and roll in the 1970's.

Butch Trucks, founding member and drummer for the Allman Brothers Band died in his sleep Jan 25 2017 at age 69.

Loved the band...amazing songs, great lyrics and legendary jam sessions.

Yes, I saw the initial report which was as i posted, but the actual cause of death is even more tragic....
