I love vinyl, but it is a PITA. Remove vinyl from sleeve, place on turntable, place clamp, turn it on, clean record, listen, get up, etc. Best sound quality? Yes. PITA? Yes.

So, I picked up a Gold Note DS-10 music player DAC. Ethernet connection to router, Chord RCAs into Line Magnetic inputs.

Download controller to the tablet, select Tidal, sit back and enjoy the music!

So, we have a chance to save the world by sitting on the couch and listening to music. Don't screw it up!

Sounds really good! Just don't listen to vinyl first.

I gave up critical listening a long time ago.
Having done it in my 20's and 30's,
I just have a minimum standard

I gave up critical listening
when the listening got critical
now I am critical of any listening
that is done critically.

Generally easy going, occasionally critical. One sounds really good, the other better.

Rotel RCD 991 vintage CD player best of the bunch) and of course, the Antique Sound Labs MG SI 15dt 8 wpc Single End Triode tube amplifier with Gold Lion KT88s, and a pair of unicorn dusted Telefunken smooth plate black diamond 12ax7s.

Sound is very nice.
