I'm really only kidding, but I still haven't seen the movie. Is it really as good as everyone makes it out to be?

LOTR series was good, but ROTK was not deserving of all its accolades, IMO. The special effects were great - unbelievably good - but from an artistic standpoint it was a hollow movie. Don't get me wrong, it was fantastic entertainment, worth more than what I paid to rent it... but it just doesn't strike me as an "important" movie that will stand the test of time.

I agree that ROTK was a bit over hyped. I enjoyed the first movie the most. The extended version of part 2 was far better than the theatrical release. I'm hoping the extra 50 minutes in ROTK will help me enjoy part 3 better as well.

I do work for the band, actually...

Catchy song... every time I hear "I'm afraid..." the chorus pops into my head.

Elves are pretty small; naturally they would explode at 19 Hz...
