M50 Floorstanding Speakers
Silky, detailed highs
The M50 tower speaker is great on its own for home audio, and wonderful as the powerhouse in a home theater speaker system - perfect for small to medium sized rooms where the added bass of a floorstanding speaker is desired. You'll be thrilled with the clean deep bass produced by the M50's twin aluminum 6.5-inch woofers in its floorstanding enclosure! Its titanium tweeter delivers silky and detailed highs with a smooth, pleasant midrange.
"The M50 towers reproduced simple single instrument pieces, then vocals, and finally complex combinations of instruments and vocals, each with a very natural sound. There was no blurring of the instruments with one another or with the vocals."

Deeper bass and dynamics
If you're already a fan of Axiom's highly-rated M3 bookshelf speaker, you'll love this floorstanding version of the it. The M50 uses identical drivers to the M3 to replicate the award-winning sound in a tower speaker which adds more deep bass and greater peak dynamics to the playback. Axiom's extensive research and double-blind listening tests contributed greatly to the development of this smooth-sounding speaker.
These 8-ohm, easy-to-drive speakers will create clean, crisp music in medium-sized rooms. The M50s come with supplied rubber feet, rubber feet screws and a wrench for tightening the binding posts. Optional accessories include bi-wirable and bi-ampable dual binding post inputs, metal round feet or metal carpet spikes.

It is always interesting to compare a speaker’s ability to accurately reproduce simple single instrument pieces, then vocals, and finally complex combinations of instruments and vocals. The M50ti towers reproduced each with a very natural sound. There was no blurring of the instruments with one another or with the vocals. The low frequency response of the towers was such that for some selections the subwoofer added negligible bass response. The M50ti bass sounded tight, with no obvious peaking due to port tuning. The M50ti ‘s would be quite satisfying without the subwoofer for someone who wanted to make their system purchase in stages.
