Which of the speaker system I go with Epic 80 or Epic 60???
I need some advice for this, I'm about to purchase the Epic 80 system, that included Tower speakers M80ti, Surrounds QS8, Centers VP150,
and Subwoofer EP350.
My room is 14' w * 34' D * 8' H.
I had a Yamaha RX-V2200 Receiver 6.1 Channel Formats
This is the audio specifications.
MAIN, 20Hz-20kHz, 0.04% THD, 8 100W +100W
CENTER, 20Hz-20kHz, 0.04% THD, 8 100W
REAR, 20Hz-20kHz, 0.04% THD, 8 100W + 100W
Dynamic Power per Channel
MAIN, 8/6/4/2 130/160/200/245W
my rx-v2200 can run at 8 ohms = 130W
6 ohms = 160W
4 ohms = 200W.
1st question, is this Epic 80 speaker system too big for my room in the basement???
2nd is the RX-V2200 6.1 receiver will be able to handle this 4 ohms load???
Personally I really like to listen music have deep tight bass.
For Epic 60 system I'm really don't it, because of the look, very small speaker.
Also for saving 15% off Should I go to Factor outlet and buy it.
