Thanks for your input, wicsteel. It really is a tough choice. I really don't think I need the video processing of the Onkyo, and I'm kinda leaning towards the Denon. Still pondering my choices though.

The two things that really dissuade me from the Onkyos at this point are the lip sync and heat issues. I had an old Sony DVD player that had issues with the lip sync and it drove me nuts.
