Sean, maybe you've been reading too much from those who've had "issues" instead of those who've been delighted and had no problems. In any case, on the lip-sync matter with some combinations of equipment, it appears(see topic 2) in the 705 owner FAQ ) to be correctible with the sync adjustment and/or the speaker distance settings in cases where it does develop.
