If it is the same as the 3802, the 02 is the year, so you have had it 6 years, give or take a few months if you bought it new.
Still, the T785 has got to be (and ought to be given it sells for the full $3K retail from Audio Advisor for instance) a step up from what I have and vs. the 3808
and this is where the blind testing comes in etc.
I totally agree if it is that much more price wise then it should be that much better but for $3000. But why not opt for the A1400-8? A few hundred more and you definately get more wattage than 195 per channel.
