I also bought my 3808 from 6ave.com for 1098 shipped. I ordered Monday and had it Thursday. The box looked beat to hell, but it turned out it was just an outside box, the receiver and it's original box were in perfect condition. You definitely have to call for the price. The first time I called I asked and he told me 1199, but I called back, got a different guy, and he said 1098 shipped. They ask where you heard the price from...don't rat us out
And in a disgusting display of useless memory, if you call the main number and push 1, it will ask you for an extension and the guy I talked to was named Mike at extension 8474.
