Thanks guys, we now have picture. I thought I originally selected HDMI through source options but after re-checking I found that composite was selected. It's going to take some time getting familiar with this receiver. Two remotes seems to complicate things even further.
While I'm here I might as well pick your brains some more. After making HDMI conections through the receiver and viewing HD content I feel my picture may be degraded as compared to previous coaxial cable connections. Through the research I have done, it seems that the Denon 3808 is not equiped with the best scaling processing chip. I have a Sony Bravia KDLXBR-4 40" LCD TV and was wondering If my picture quality would increase if I could disable scaling from the Denon? Do I have any options with the equipment I have without compromising audio signal quality. I don't have my Axiom's yet so I thought I would address picture quality first, then the HT system. Thanks for everyone's input.
